Comments, Suggestions & Complaints:
Patients sometimes feel the need to comment on the service provided by the practice and this page is designed to make that
process easier. We hope that by following the procedure detailed here, any concerns may be resolved at practice level to the
satisfaction of all involved.
Please contact our practice manager, Mrs Christine Davis if you have a problem which needs further investigation and she
will advise you on the steps to take. Please note that this procedure does not deal with matters of legal liability or
compensation.
Our policy is to acknowledge the receipt of a complaint within 3 working days and to seek to resolve any concerns within 10
working days — you will be advised if more time is needed.
Please note that we keep strictly to the rules of medical confidentiality. If you are complaining on behalf of someone else,
we have to know that you have their permission to do so. A note signed by the person concerned will be needed, unless
they are incapable (because of illness) of providing this.
We hope that, if you have a problem, you will use our practice complaints procedure as this gives us an opportunity to
improve our practice. But this does not affect your right to approach the local Primary Care Trust, if you feel you cannot
raise your complaint with us or you are dissatisfied with the result of our investigation. You should contact the Trust for
further advice at the following address:
