Our receptionists are trained to help and advise you. If you request a home visit,
they may ask you for a few details about the nature of your ailment to assist the
doctor.

A phlebotomist from New Cross hospital attends the practice every Wednesday and
alternate Fridays to do routine blood tests as requested by the doctors or
nurses. |

Our Health Visitor offers services which include; Child Development Monitoring,
Family Support, Health Screening for the Elderly and Public Health. She can be

A team of midwives is attached to the Practice to provide antenatal and postnatal

Housebound patients receive nursing care from the team of District Nurses who are
attached to the Practice. |

A Community Dietician provides dietary advice to our patients at a monthly clinic
in the surgery. Your doctor will refer you if necessary. |

The Community Psychiatric Nurses are all Registered Psychiatric Nurses, who provide
help and support for patients in their own homes and by appointment at the surgery.

The practice has an attached PCMHW, who is trained to work with people with mild to
moderate depression. If you feel it would help to talk to someone, please ask your GP
for a leaflet explaining the service. Patients can self-refer to this service.

Our Health Trainer works in the community with patients who rarely attend GP surgeries offering
advice ranging from weight loss to smoking cessation as well as checking blood pressure readings.
